Spruce up this spring

Spring has sprung! Well, almost. Get your holiday home ready for the season with lighter soft furnishings, brighter accessories and fresh foliage. Not sure where to start? We’re here to help. Our interior designer, Mary, shares her style predictions for spring and beyond in our blog.

Bring the outside in

‘Nature’ remains at the core of the current and future interiors - our love of plants will never die. Real or faux plants add a new dimension to a space, bringing the outdoors in can really refresh a home. Try a Monstera Deliciosa in your holiday home, they are beautiful plants and require very little maintenance and the strong green will add a pop of colour.

Botanicals are back

Put a spring in your step in your holiday home or outside space by introducing some punchy florals. Whether you’re a pastel florals fan or prefer bold prints, you can introduce botanicals through soft furnishings, artwork or even dried flower bouquets. Set your creativity free.

Let your colour pop

Colour pop accessories are a fun trend coming through for spring and summer. Colour popping a space can create a bold interior with a vibrant and interesting feel without having to commit to painting a wall or buying new furniture. By using earthy and natural pallets as a backdrop, this allows you to change and play with the colours you use with your accessories, which keeps your space feeling fun and fresh.

Colours to watch

Green, pink and burnt orange are hot right now. Green is here to stay from a light sage green though to deep bottle greens, keeping your colour palette natural will always be on trend. Pink and orange are great contrasting colours to green, and again can be used as pastels right through to neon. This can be seen through some of the Pantone Colours of the Year for autumn winter 22/23.
